I love to start my days with green smoothies. Looking for a basic green smoothie? Blend a big handful of spinach, frozen banana, vanilla unsweetened almond milk, and a tablespoon of peanut butter.
Get the details from the green smoothie queen herself, Victoria Boutenko.

I used to write diaries when I was younger…I wish that I had kept up with it. It would be interesting to look back and read what I went through throughout the years. At times I think about starting up a new one; just to sort things out in my head. But I never end up doing it, I either forget or I am too lazy. Now I realize, I have a blog. Isn’t this supposed to kind of be like an online diary? So here I am, writing my most intimate, personal details on a page that anyone can see. Luckily, I am pretty sure no one I know will ever see this.
I’m very angry at life right now. I understand that there are low and high points in everybody’s life, and that I am just going through a low period right now. It’s fate. Sometimes great things happen. But sometimes horrible things happen. Sometimes you go off, after 20 years of living in the same house, to a school that you don’t belong to. Sometimes you get close to failing out of that school. Sometimes you lose touch with all of your friends, and wind up feeling very alone. Sometimes you have a rough patch with your significant other of 3 years. Sometimes your grandma gets dementia, and can’t remember who you are. Sometimes your father gets throat cancer. Sometimes your mom finds a tumor in her tongue, and has to go through painful and draining procedures to get rid of it. And sometimes, if the shittiest of all stars align, all of this happens to you at once.
I hate feeling sorry for myself; just counting the number of “I“‘s that I’ve said so far makes me feel selfish. People go through much worse. My troubles are nothing compared to some people’s. But it makes me think, why? Why deal with this sad, heartbreaking world? What’s the point? Right now it feels like you live a life of constant problems, just to die and have it all amount to nothing.
Sorry for being depressing, it’s just a lot. Goodnight.
